Audience Acquisition Operations and Field Engagement Lead

LOCATION: Remote (working hours are Pacific Time Zone)

Support audience management of high-touch event series with internal support, communications management, audience data management.


The work to validate, invite and register a targeted audience for high touch enterprise level events is the result of much effort put in across a team of Sound Planning Event Project Managers. This role would join in these efforts. You would become an expert in project specific processes, policies, tone and operations and would serve as a key member of the team working to continuously improve over time.

The work will require the confidence of experience to communicate with stakeholders and partner suppliers, alike; and at other times, will require the willingness to dig in and perform the same administrative task repeatedly to get through a to do list. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable with both high-level relationship-building and cross-team communication as well as low-level tactical (but always critical) tasks.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Collaborate with customer teams, internal teams, and external planning partners
  • Attend regular meetings with customer, internal, and partner teams
  • Maintain event workback schedule
  • Prepare, update, and maintain audience data
  • Manage audience data in digital tools
  • Perform communication operations to drive data completion and audience registration
  • Report on trends and progress to goals
  • Manage customer support inbox

  • A knowledge of event planning
  • A familiarity with Microsoft from an employee or supplier perspective
  • Strength in the following tools:
    • CRM/Registration tools
    • Excel
    • Word (mail merge)
